Become a Foster

Fosters are a vital part of our mission of saving as many lives as possible and we would not be here without the help of people like you!  By becoming a foster, you are giving abused, neglected, and homeless dogs an opportunity of finding their forever home. Fostering a WILD Canine Rescue dog can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life.

This is a commitment requiring total dedication by the participant (and everyone in the household). 

We also require that all family pets be update to date on all shots for the safety of both the family pets and the foster dogs. Approved fosters will participate in a Foster Orientation and will also be assigned a Foster Mentor to guide you through the foster process.    

Fostering is a transition time for rescue pets as they recover, learn, and grow while waiting for their forever family. Foster time periods typically range anywhere from two weeks to several months, depending on the animal’s age and needs.   WILD Canine  Rescue will provide all the veterinary care, food, crate and toys. We ask that the foster stays committed during the whole time the dog is looking for its new home, as YOU are the only consistent in their life at this time.
